Description

Psychologically, how do we deal with potentially violent threats or harmful behaviours? When all of the standard and typical treatments and resources fail to prevent these potentially harmful behaviours, what can be done to prevent them from being carried out? Whether it’s domestic violence, incidents of stalking, violent physical threats, public attacks or even cyber crimes and identity theft, there are people trained to assess threats to try and prevent the worst possible outcome.
Based in Australia, We spoke with Dr Lisa Warren and Ruby Basocak of Code Black Psychology, is an agency that specialises in social work, threat assessments, and psychological services to get an understanding of what it’s like to deal with serious cases that involve psychological intervention to assess, stop and prevent harmful behaviours.
