Code Black Psychology is a registered provider of the Multiple and Complex Needs Initiative (MACNI). We provide MACNI assessments, care plan development and care plan coordination for the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing under MACNI.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Our services are regularly used by MACNI Complex Needs Coordinators and the Support for High-Risk Tenancies (SfHRT) program across Victoria to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Provide consultations and coordination in highly complex cases<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Articulate the elements of complexity in the case and their cumulative effect<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Provide a forensic lens to complex cases to determine the factors contributing to risk and the evidence-based strategies to effectively mitigate risk<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Access experienced practitioners in the field of complex diagnostics and risk<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Preserve service system resources and address system fatigue <\/li>\n\n\n\n
Create a sustainable model of care for each case<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

As specialists in complex case formulation, we create a comprehensive understanding of the complexity of clients and their situations and the risks clients pose to themselves and others. Our multi-disciplinary team have expertise working with persistently high-risk people and the many factors that contribute to their risk. We recognise the particular needs of those from marginalised and vulnerable populations, such as women, young people, the LGBTIQA+ community, and those whose cultural and religious heritage exposes them to individual and systemic injustice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
