Get in touchSally Lamshed is an Occupational Therapist and a member of the Behaviour Support Team at Code Black Psychology. Her role includes completing functional capacity assessments, housing and support needs assessments, and providing capacity building support for clients with complex needs.
Sally has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology and Sociology), a Master of Occupational Therapy Practice, and a Specialist Certificate in Criminology (Forensic Disability). She has been working as an Occupational Therapist for several years, primarily in the field of forensic disability. Sally has experience providing training and supervision to other clinicians, and has presented at national conferences including OT Exchange and the Australasian Society for Intellectual Disability.
Sally’s key area of interest is working with adults with developmental and/or psychosocial disabilities who are in contact with the justice system. She is passionate about facilitating successful transitions to the community for this group and has extensive experience across a range of settings including prisons and other secure accommodations. Sally’s approach is friendly and practical, grounded in an occupational justice framework which recognises rights to participation in everyday occupations that are meaningful to the individual.
