Get in touchLauren is a Psychologist and a member of the Clinical and Consulting Team(CCT) at Code Black Psychology. Lauren’s role involves conducting psychological assessments, development of MACNI care plans and providing consultation around complex cases who find themselves at the nexus between the various service systems.
Lauren is a registered Psychologist with over 15 years experience working with clients who have found themselves involved in the Criminal Justice System. She has worked across prison settings, community correctional services, and community support organisations conducting risk assessments, treatment planning and delivering offence specific treatment for clients with high risk and multiple and complex needs. This includes those with cognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders, substance use and mental health problems.
Lauren is a passionate advocate for marginalised individuals gaining access to the services they need in order to help improve their lives and subsequently increase community safety. She has a particular interest and over 8 years experience in applying Positive Behaviour Support within a compulsory treatment framework to the forensic disability cohort.
