Ms Carly Langham

Carly is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), working as a Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner at Code Black Psychology. Carly’s role is developing behaviour support plans and functional behavioural assessments for complex clients, usually justice-involved NDIS participants.

Carly has completed a Bachelor of Criminology and Psychology (RMIT), a Master of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis (Monash University), a course in Recognising and Responding to Sexual Violence (RMIT) and is currently completing a Specialist Certificate in Criminology-Forensic Disability at Melbourne University. She has been working in the field of behaviour analysis for the past 7 years with experience across various sectors and different presentations/populations. Carly also has experience in providing supervision and training to other practitioners and sectors in the areas of behaviour analysis and positive behaviour support.

Carly’s areas of interest are high-risk youth populations involved in the residential out-of-home care system or the youth justice system, the social networks of young people including involvement in crime groups, individuals with disability who are involved with the justice system, and individuals impacted by dissociation and complex trauma. Carly utilises authenticity and compassion when working alongside complex individuals, always striving to understand their story and experiences as part of a person-centred behaviour support approach.
