Get in touchKelvin is a Behaviour Support Practitioner with extensive experience supporting youth and adults with complex psychosocial and behavioural needs. He specialises in working with individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, multi-level trauma, and forensic histories, using evidence-based, person-centred approaches to achieve meaningful outcomes. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology, further strengthening his clinical expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Kelvin has a particular interest in working with high-risk violent and sexual offenders who pose a severe and persistent risk of harm. He has provided therapeutic support, conducted risk assessments, and motivated clients toward positive behavioural change in both custodial and community forensic settings. Kelvin also supports individuals with dual diagnoses, particularly those with substance use disorders (SUD), recognising the importance of integrated, trauma-informed care for sustainable recovery.
With a background in roles such as Advanced Case Manager and Probation Officer at the Department of Justice and Community Services in both Australia and New Zealand, Kelvin is skilled in risk assessment, stakeholder collaboration, and the development of positive behaviour support plans (CBSPs). His work focuses on reducing restrictive practices, safeguarding dignity, and creating interventions that promote long-term behavioural change. His person-centred approach ensures strategies are both effective and aligned with the unique goals of his clients. Kelvin values cultural sensitivity and actively connects with clients from diverse backgrounds. He is committed to mentoring care teams, providing training and guidance to ensure the highest standard of client support, and fostering inclusive practices.
